Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFS)
Characterized as anterior pain usually secondary to the misalignment and/or abnormal movement of the patella relative to the femur.

Chondromalacia
The breaking down of the cartilage between the knee cap and the femur.

Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome
Lateral knee, thigh or hip pain usually secondary to decreased flexibility.

Plantar Fasciitis
Tenderness and inflammation of the fascia which runs from the heel of the foot to the base of the big toe.

Achilles Tendonitis
Inflammation of the Achilles tendon, which connects the calf muscles to the heel of the foot.

Shin Splints
Medial Tibia Stress Syndrome is one of the more common overuse injuries. It is characterized by irritation and inflammation of the muscle attachment to the fascia or the bone.

Muscular Strains
(i.e.) hamstring, hip flexors, quadriceps, gluteus, gastrocnemius.
