| Elbow stretches and instructions:
1) Wrist Extensor Stretch:
Keeping your elbow straight, use the opposite hand to gently bend wrist down.
2) Behind the Back Wrist Extensor Stretch:
Follow the same instructions as for wrist extensor stretch but with the hands behind your back.
Ensure your elbow is completely straight then try to roll your shoulder outward.
3) Wrist Flexor Stretch:
Keeping your elbow straight, use the opposite hand to gently bend wrist down.
General Stretching Instructions:
- Stretches should not induce pain. A stretching or pulling sensation is normal, but if you are experiencing pain, you are stretching too aggressively.
- Do not bounce. Do all stretches slowly and in a controlled fashion.
- Hold each stretch for 20 seconds.
- Do two to three repetitions of each stretch before and after golfing.
- Do each stretch on both the right and left sides when applicable.
