Kristin Leroy

Kristin graduated from the University of Toronto Masters of Physical Therapy program in 2013, following completion of her Bachelors degree in Honours Kinesiology from McGill University. From a young age, she has been involved in competitive sports including soccer and basketball, travelling across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, which sparked her interest in physical therapy as a career.  Since graduating, Kristin has completed various professional development courses including; AFCI Acupuncture Level 1, Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Lumbar Spine with the Robin McKenzie Institute of Canada, Levels 1, 2 and 3 Upper and Lower Quadrant Manual Therapy Courses with the National Capital Unit Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She has a passion for injury management and prevention, including concussion/vestibular dysfunction awareness and management, through the combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation to assist with timely return to work, sport and extra-curricular activities.  In her spare time she enjoys playing broomball and soccer, travelling, spending time outdoors and helping out on her husbands family dairy farm.
