Manual therapy
Physiotherapy uses manual therapy, involving the mobilization of a joint. The purpose of these mobilizations is to reduce pain and restore movement. Joint mobilizations can occur at the spine or at a peripheral joint (arm, leg). Based on your assessment, the Physiotherapist will identify the source of your problem and can apply these mobilizations as an integral part of your treatment to relieve pain and regain movement. To be fully effective, you will receive specific exercises, combined with manual therapy to improve the effectiveness of your treatment.
